Fishing Without Nets
D dot's John Hibey (co-writer and producer) and Director Cutter Hodierne came back from East Africa with a hard drive full of filmed experiences and a head full of ideas for their short film - which went on to win Sundance Jury Prize for Short Film Making. They came to Patrick Taylor and Kevin Hilliard with little more musical direction than "we want something that feels like something bad is about to happen." Out of this Patrick and Kevin came together and created a lush textured design that has had audiences wanting to see more. Take a look and a listen at the tension we helped create with this score.
